Nexus goes green!
Back in 2022 we gave ourselves a five year target for Nexus to become totally self reliant for the energy we use - and that's quite a bit of energy! We are delighted to announce we have achieved this goal two years ahead of schedule.
With the generous help of a partial grant from North Yorkshire Council we have installed a 50 kWh ground based solar array at our head office in Wilsill; taking a lot of care to blend it into the landscape and not use any agricultural land.
The results have been even better than forecast; so we are very pleased - and just need the grass to grow back!
